My work spans acclaimed international feature films like Twilight Over Burma (Austria) and Line Walker 2 (Hong Kong)—Myanmar’s first action film—setting new benchmarks in cross-cultural storytelling and production innovation. I’ve also directed and produced hundreds of local commercials, social media ads, documentaries, educational videos, TV series, public service announcements, animation and print commercial ads, building a legacy of audience impact across platforms.

Personally trained by global industry experts who traveled to Myanmar for hands-on mentorship, I bring a rare blend of creative vision, technical mastery, and international insight—ensuring every production connects deeply with its audience.

 Foundational Career: 12 Years with PSI/Myanmar (2001–2012) & Early Career (1992–2000)

I began my career in 1992, building my foundation in video editing, graphic design, and photography at Nan Oo Ngwe Kyar Video Editing Studio, SHARP Electronics, and Eldorado Digital Media in Myanmar. During this time, I also gained experience in subtitling foreign TV series and worked with top directors on TVCs, karaoke subtitling, and film marketing campaigns.

From 2001 to 2005, I served at PSI/Myanmar, where I initially worked as a Video Editor and quickly advanced to more senior roles, such as Media Consultant and Creative Manager. In this period, I played a key role in producing impactful health-related educational ads, documentaries, and commercial campaigns. I also contributed to the production of Myanmar’s first TV series on HIV/AIDS and Malaria, making significant strides in public health media.

In 2006, I expanded my horizons internationally by working at Cover Look Holding Pte Ltd in Singapore as a Photographer and Graphic Designer, where I further sharpened my skills in visual storytelling within a global context.

I rejoined PSI/Myanmar in 2007, resuming my role and later advancing to Media Producer. Over the next five years, I produced numerous educational campaigns and earned PSI’s President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement for my contributions to public health awareness. My experience at PSI was marked by my leadership in producing high-impact campaigns for brands such as Aphaw Condoms, Super Net, Water Guard, DOTS, OK Family Care, and Sun Clinics.
